In 1982, John Pennant established JP Accident Repair Centre as a one man show in a small laneway in Mentone. As the business’s reputation for honesty & quality grew, it moved to new more prominent premises in Dandenong before later expanding into its current large premises at Croydon and Werribee. Over time, the services provided by the business increased and, in 2011, after 28 years in the automotive repair industry it incorporated as JP AUTO GROUP PTY LTD. At JP, our skilled tradesmen have many years experience and take pride in their work. They are hand picked and we pay above award wages to ensure we get the most from our people. We also use state of the art equipment for every job, and in spray painting only use PPG, a highly reputable paint, to make sure the refinishing quality is of a high standard. We don’t take kickbacks from insurers, or reduce the quality of our work to get more insurance jobs. In particular, we have high standards and don’t take shortcuts that can affect quality. This translates to consistent quality work that you can rely on. As a business we try to be flexible and responsive to our clients’ needs. Within reason, we are always willing to consider customer suggestions, and accommodate special requests or custom jobs. We are willing go the extra mile, including providing assistance with accident related insurance claims at no further charge to our clients. Coming from humble origins and running our own business, we also know the stresses that suddenly having to find money to pay for repairs can cause so we offer options suitable for all situations. With our access to our own car fleet, tow trucks, and longer opening hours, we often find that we can offer alternatives or package savings, which our competitors can’t match. While we guarantee we will always explore options for keeping client’s costs down, we are not just the generic brand or ‘sausage factory’ when it comes to the services we provide. We are a prestige specialist, but also a company that works on the average person’s car.
