Galilee Catholic Primary School Bondi was started in the year 2002 following the amalgamation of St Anne’s Primary School Bondi Beach and St Patrick’s Primary School Bondi. Catholic education has a long story in Bondi. The Sisters of St Joseph opened St Anne’s Primary School Bondi Beach in 1894 and St Patrick’s Primary School in Wellington St Bondi in 1919. St Anne’s Primary School was then controlled administered by the Sisters of Mercy from 1929 until 1991.At Galilee, we proceed with to live out the Josephite and Mercy charismas of helping those in need.
