Tencel fabric is extracted from Eucalyptus wood pulp, 100% bio-degradable and is harvested from sustainable tree farms. It is considerably more absorbent than cotton, which means there is never any moisture left behind, therefore fungal and microbial growth becomes impossible. Synthetic fibres can harbour as much as 2000 times more bacteria than Tencel. It is 100% toxin and chemical free, and the fibres are smooth, all factors which reduce skin irritation.
