Selling my absolutely gorgeous Blue & Gold Macaw - Eric On offer is my wonderful young lad, Eric. He is 18 months old and SO tame. Eric loves interacting & I have him out of his cage all day with me in my office - he is silly tame, and rushes to "step up" to me the minute I take his blanket off his cage - loves head strokes, tickles, belly rubs, nuzzling & cuddling. He also loves to sit on my shoulder. Eric says a few words, "hello" when he sees me, or in the morning when I uncover him, or walk in the room...lovely to hear. He says a few other words occasionally too. I am sure his vocabulary will increase with time. He is in fine health, eats well; and at his still young age, will train up even better. He will make a great companion. Eric comes with his quality tempered iron cage, which is black metal and just the right size for him at 5.5 foot (162 cm) tall. The cage has 3 perches, food and water bowls, an indestructible parrot swing, rope spiral etc. This beautiful Macaw also comes with a full, 12.5kg sack of "Johnston & Jeff" parrot food mix (which cost £26 and will last months). If the buyer does not require the cage I will sell it separately, but, bear in mind if you do want the cage you'll need to be in a large enough vehicle to transport the macaw in. He is closed rung, but I don't have any certificates; there were none when I bought him. He does not need CITES registration. Selling due to my ill-health. Serious buyers only please. I am sure he will find his forever home quite quickly...
