Legendary avant-garde unit headed by Toby Driver, maudlin of the Well's final album seemed likely never to happen after several personnel changes pushed the band into what became Kayo Dot in 2001, leaving all remaining maudlin material temporarily forgotten. In 2008, Toby expressed a desire to revisit the material but it could not be done without the music community's help to finance the project. Thus one of the first crowd-funded albums in history materialized and gave life to the last part of maudlin of the Well's quality history.. Initially distributed for free digitally, the album found a physical home thanks to Blood Music and Antithetic Records. Now, 5 years after its last physical pressing, Blood Music returns with a highly demanded remake.
