The drum is made from 316 Marine grade stainless steel, and runs on a serviceable bearing centre for smooth and hassle free operation. All Muir drum winches are built with a HDPE and UV protected brake, meaning that there will no over run during manual free fall operation. All units are supplied with a circuit breaker, reversing solenoid pack and helm control switch kit. All Muir winches are designed and built in Australia.
