Our life is amazing, as we live in best houses and standing in the operational arena taking to sustain our position in society. Yet there are certain tidbits in our wonderful dwellings which over the time become the nightmare. I am here talking about the common plumbing issues that we have to face in our homes and offices. These issues cause disruptions in our day to day activities- right from sinking of drains, to bursting of pipes or just hot water heater stops functioning, but each problem can get treated. Major plumbing problem requires professional hands but you can treat a problem of minor nature like the clogged toilet or slow drainage at ease with elbow grease and a plunger and avoid costly repairs. Regular Maintenance One way is maintenance and regular check of the pipes and drains. Leaks in the hidden drains or water heaters area cause nuisance but can also cause structural damage. Sometimes water which gets seeped into sheetrock or plaster also causes the mold growth and discoloration of the wooden floo********* toring and checking of the pipes of sinks or which are located behind the toilet tanks. Though on any humid day some condensation on a cold metal pipe is quite common, but if it is cool, pipes do get damp. Also, check if there is no corrosion. The corrosion occurs quite often on damp metal and can cause a slow leak. Also check the water pressure of the water faucets, showers or tubs. Though there might be some variation in the speed of the water they should have a steady flow. If the water is drained slowly, it is an alert for you. Also, flush toilets to make sure there is leakage towards the base.
