It’s beautifully crafted from marine grade raw materials including drawn / extruded aluminium and aluminium castings, with stainless steel fasteners and cable. The mast is a truly impressive 120 x 76mm section – that and all frame components are engineered to achieve a 60kph wind rating. The frame is powder coated a beautiful shadow silver / anthracite combi-nation, same as San Remo. Fabric is Sunbrella – the legendary 320gm solution dyed acrylic that will almost literally never fade. It has 4 countersunk secu********* 100mm long DYNABOLTS, LOCKSINS or CONCRETE SCREWS (to be purchased) can be secured in pre-drilled holes in the concrete. The concrete must be of good quality, surface dead level and at least 11-12cm thick. Inground Base (optional purchase) A hole must be dug for the cementing in of the 50cm long Inground Base – the size of the hole and the amount of concrete to be used will be dependant on the softness of the soil. Hard soil / rock may require only a 50cm wide hole, 50cm deep and 2 or 3 (x 20kg) bags of sand cement mix. Soft soil would need a wider hole and maybe 4 or 5 bags. The Inground Base must be installed vertically into the wet cement – the 25cm diameter top flange must be checked dead level with a sprit level. The top of the flange could be level with the top of the cement but screw the 4 bolts (supplied) into the holes to keep them free of cement. Leave the concrete 1 week to harden, then secure the 25cm round umbrella base flange onto the cemented in Inground Base flange, using the 4 countersunk head bolts supplied, fully tighten. The umbrella mast can now be attached and your ASTA used.
