The Random Pendant Light was originally designed in 2005 by Bertjan Pot for the Monkey Boys team. Our replica Random Lamp is created to the same specifications as the original and has a gorgeous intricate web of epoxy and fibreglass random strands from a centrally suspended bulb. Like a delicate spider's web, the Random pendant light manages to simultaneously draw your attention and yet be almost see-through. Made by wrapping resin-soaked yarn around an inflatable mould, the design is a natural extension of Marcel Wanders experiments in woven furniture made from resin and fibre. Free from heavy structural elements, the light appears to hover, weightless, in space. Available in either black or white with a matching coloured ceiling rose.
