These Mini-Fit Jr hand crimp tools feature a full cycle ratcheting mechanism that prevents the handles from opening until a full crimp cycle is achieved. The ratchet mechanism releases at the end of the closing stroke and allows the handles of the tool to open. This feature ensures that full crimps are achieved and partial crimps are avoided. These hand crimp tools also have a ratchet release lever that enables the tool to be opened in the event of jamming or miscrimping. An easy to use precision terminal locator wire stop holds the terminals in the correct crimping position.
