Developed in house by Altronics, the MegaBox allows an Arduino UNO or Mega to be plugged into it, along with a shield. This allows you to build your design into a finished case. In addition, a 16x2 LCD, four control buttons, an IR receiver and a rotary encoder are also provided on the front panel. Whilst two 2A 5V relay outputs are available on the rear (see S 4128C for spec). All UNO/Mega pins are broken out to header sockets for easy connection to other breakouts. A small 210 hole prototyping area on the main board for connecting to other sensors, parts and circuits. Shield compatability: Note that the maximum height above the shield PCB is 14mm. The only shield in our range which does not fit within the casing is the Z 6343 motor shield. Shield placement is with the flat side to the rear of the unit.
