Custom 29' Alum Expedition Vessel 29' Aluminium ex- Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) lifeboat/workboat, now mini-expedition boat, M/V Wave. Built originally for survey-use in the Canadian Arctic, the vessel was converted to a 20 person life boat by the CCG and was in use until the late 2000s. She was modified for expedition use in 2013 by current owners and used annually in the Arctic since. She is heavily constructed, positively buoyant (designed to be unsinkable) and well insulated. Originally built for max. 18-20kn, Wave has a 300hp Detroit Diesel GM6v53. She has a range of over 1000nm at 6.5-7 knots. Wave is being sold with all the equipment used by the current owners. They have travelled in her down the Mackenzie River to the Western Canadian Arctic, explo********* est coast of Greenland over 5 years. Equipment includes a thermo-moulded rescue boat/dinghy, 25hp outboard, electronics (GPS, radar, plotter, depth sounder, VHF, AIS), tools, spares, portable fuel and water containers, generator, safety gear and immersion suits, electrical and cooking equipment, diesel stove/oven/heater.
