The Ball Chair was designed by Finnish furniture designer Eero Aarnio in 1963, and is a classic of industrial design. The design was based on the simplest geometric form - the ball. By cutting of a part and fixing it at one point Eero Aarnio comes to a remarkable result - a completely unconventional shaped chair. The Ball Chair is often dubbed a "room within a room" and has a cozy and calm atmosphere, protecting from outside noises and giving a private space for relaxing or having a ********* sily on its own axis, allowing the user to alter the view to the outer world.
