Explorer 16/32bit PIC Development Kit

Explorer 16/32 Development Board and Kit The Microchip Explorer 16/32 Development Board is a versatile full-featured prototyping platform for 16-bit and 32-bit PIC microcontrollers and dsPIC digital signal controllers. With the Explorer 16/32, MCUs and DSCs can be easily interchanged through the use of the Plug-In Modules (PIMs). The kit ships with a 16-bit PIC24FJ1024GB610 PIM; other PIMs that feature other device families are readily available. Adding different functionalities and technologies to the Explorer 16/32 is simple. The board can be tailored with the addition of PICtail Plus Daughter boards, MikroElektronika Click Boards and Digilent Pmod™ Boards. In addition, there are expansion headers which can be customised as needed. Microchip’s free to download MPLAB X Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is fully compatible with the Explorer 16/32. Included within MPLAB X is the MPLAB Code Configurator, a graphical programming environment that streamlines generation of C code to mouse clicks.
